Course Outline
Airport Operation / Ground staff are the backbone of airport operations and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of airline services on the ground. They are responsible for passenger assistance, baggage handling, flight coordination, security, and various administrative functions. Airport ground staff work in different departments such as check-in, boarding, cargo handling, customer service, ramp operations, and operations management etc.
With record breaking surge in air passengers’ traffic, as the regional connectivity is expanding by operationalizing new airports in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Cities, under the UDAN Scheme and govt’s aim to build 300 airports, it presents a massive demand for trained ground personnel. The ground personnel are required not only by airports but also by multiple aviation service providers
